I need to kick the habit of cracking my knuckles,
and i don’t want to get arthritis, or, at least not now.

I work for physiatrists (Sports Rehab Doctors). Cracking your knuckes will not give you arthritis. All you are doing is moving fluid from one joint to another. According to them, cracking knuckles has NEVER been associated with causing arthritis. Arthritis is caused by many factors such as: sports, weight, age, occupation, genetics, previous injury, illness or infection and sports. So crack away.
