How can I quit my addiction to food?

Question by :) : How can I quit my addiction to food?
I literally am addicted to food, I eat constantly. I eat when I am bored, happy, sad, angry, and sometimes for no reason at all. I go out to eat for entertainment, and eat way too much. I am always thinking about food. Even when I am full I can not stop eating. I am trying to lose weight because I am very heavy but I don’t know how to stop eating like this. I have tried dieting but I always end up gaining it all back. Is there anything I can do to help overcome my addiction to food?
